Winter Break

Ahhhhhhhhhh - Winter Break. The residential complex will be closed from 5 pm on Friday, December 12th through Noon on Sunday, January 4th. Residential students are welcome to remain on-campus for this break, but they must sign up to do so on the WOU Portal. There is a $250 charge to stay for this break. Use the links below for detailed information.

Items of note regarding the break:

  • There is no food service during the break, and the deadline for meal plan changes for the coming terms is NOON, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31.
  • Students who wish to stay on-campus for the break MUST sign up on the Portal. Deadline: 5 pm, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9 - NO EXCEPTIONS! With the exception of Arbor Park residents, there is a $250 charge to stay for any or all of the break. Students will be relocated to Landers Hall for the break. Deadline to select room: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9. (Students can stop by the University Housing Office in Ackerman Hall to select a room for the break).
  • The entire Western Oregon University campus will be CLOSED December 20-28
