Just what IS a Hall Host?
The primary purpose of the Hall Host position is to provide prospective students and their families the opportunity to meet a
current on campus student, learn about on campus living and view rooms in first year residence halls. You will also help out with on-campus events such as Preview Days and on-campus visits coordinated by the Admissions office.

- The individual(s) selected to serve as Hall Host will be a traditional first year student, (within one year of graduation from high school) who will live on-campus in one of our First Year residence halls, Heritage, Landers, Barnum or Ackerman Hall.
In addition, the Hall Host(s) will:
- Maintain Good Academic Standing while attending Western Oregon University
- Strong High School Leadership Experience
- No continuing record of disciplinary action
- Follow guidelines established by the University
- Adhere to the Accountability contract of RHA

The First-Year Liaison will work closely with and within the Residence Hall Association, serving as an active voice for your first-year peers in RHA Executive Board and General Assembly meetings. RHA and University Housing would like to invite interested individuals who meet the following minimum qualifications for the position to apply for the First-Year Liaison position for the 2012-2013 academic year.
- Traditional first-year student (within one year of graduation from high school) who lives on campus.
- Maintain good academic standing (2.25 GPA) throughout the academic year.
- Strong high school leadership experience.
- No continuing record of disciplinary action.
- Follow guidelines established by the University.
- Adhere to the Accountability Contract of RHA.

To be considered for membership on the committee, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- A student living on campus - (three-four positions available)
- A member of the Residence Hall Association Executive Committee - (one position available)
- A Resident Assistant - (two-three positions available)
- A live-in professional staff person - (one position available)

The Weekend Wolfpack Committee is comprised of students and University Housing staff. This committee is responsible for the planning and implementation of the weekend events and activities on campus - from recreating Minute to Win It to traveling to Seattle for a Mariners game. Two first-year students and 2 returning students will join the committee this year for the first time to provide their input, plan the events, and see their ideas come to life!
WEEKEND WOLFPACK COMMITTEE APPLICATION

University Housing would like to invite you to join the Residence Hall Green Team for the 2012-2013 Academic Year! We are looking to fill up to six new Residence Hall Green Team positions, each to be scheduled to work 10 hours per week. For detailed information and the application packet for the 2012-2013 Green Team, please use the link below.
THE TIMELINE FOR THE GREEN TEAM POSITION(s) ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- MAY 25, 2012: Completed applications are due in the University Housing office by 5 pm.
Interviews will be conducted prior to the end of this academic school year. If schedules allow, new hires will be asked to shadow a collection shift, and/or educational program sponsored by the Green Team.
- June 4 - June 15, 2012: Interviews of qualified candidates.
- SEPTEMBER 9, 2012: Begin employment.

University Housing is conducting a search for current students to serve on the RSC Desk Assistant staff for the 2012-2013 Academic Year. We are looking to fill up to five new Desk Assistant positions, each to be scheduled to work 10 hours per week to start.
