The Housing and Dining Advisory Board
Just what IS the Housing and Dining Advisory Board, and WHAT do they do?
Made up of an RHA Executive Board representative, two Resident Assistants, and Area Coordinator, Housing staff, the Director of Foodservice, Assistant Director of University Housing, the Dean of Students and three to four at-large students, the Housing and Dining Advisory Board (HDAC) was created to inform Housing and Dining leadership on issues related specifically to residential life on campus.
As a member of the HDAC, your collective role will be to advise University Housing and Campus Dining on budgetary, policy, procedural and improvement issues related to the residential community. HDAC will also be responsible for initial review and approval of annual rates for the residence halls and apartments. Any procedural, policy or rate changes submitted by HDAC will be subect to further review by the Residence Hall Association General Assembly and ultimately University Housing Senior Staff when appropriate.
