Arbuthnot Hall
Completed in 1962 and dedicated in 1963, Arbuthnot Hall first served as a women's residence hall. A renovation in 1987 fit the residence hall to serve the Oregon Police Academy. With the departure of the Police Academy in 2006, Arbuthnot Hall has once again, opened its doors to serve as a residence hall as of Fall of 2007.
Arbuthnot Hall - affectionately called "Arby" by staff and previous residents, will offer single room accommodations to its residents, with a community bathroom along each of its double loaded corridors. Arby will also offer wireless internet service (at no additional cost to its residents) for each resident and cable TV in each of its lounges. Students must provide their own cell phone and service.
Parking permits (scroll down to parking services) are required for all on campus residents with vehicles, and Parking Lots "Q" and "J" have been designated for residents of Arbuthnot and Maaske Halls. Three sets of card-activated washers and dryers are available in the basement for laundry. Value can be added to laundry cards in the Residential Service Center. Meal Plans are required for Arbuthnot Residents. Meal cards will work at any Campus Dining restaurants, but wholesale pricing for residence hall students is only available for purchases made in the Valsetz Dining Hall.
