Steps
to Follow:
To
apply for participation in NSE,
follow the following steps:
- Schedule an appointment to
meet with WOU's NSE Coordinator
- Pick up an application from Room 203 in the Werner University Center or online.
- Visit the NSE website, www.nse.org,
to gather more information about
the program or participating schools
- Fill out application for NSE
and schedule an appointment with
WOU's NSE Coordinator to turn
in applications. Applications
are due February 15.
- Arrange for 1 letter of recommendation
to be sent via email, or with
application to
Debbie Diehm, NSE Coordinator, Student Affairs
345 N. Monmouth Ave.
Monmouth, OR 97361
- Turn in application and $175
non-refundable application fee
(after February 15, the application
fee will be $185;
a $10.00 late fee is assessed) to the address
above.
- Complete your FAFSA application by February 15 if you are paying your host school's
tuition and fees (Plan A) and
you plan on using Financial Aid,
list all placement choices and
Western Oregon University on your
FAFSA application (FAFSA codes
are listed in the NSE Directory).
It is required that you turn in
your application and schedule
an interview with Debbie Diehm, WOU's NSE Coordinator. Applications
will not be accepted without an
appointment!

Below you will the forms
to help you start the process to study somewhere
else around the country!

Letter of Recommendation form (pdf format).
It is strongly encouraged that you make
an appointment with Debbie Diehm prior
to filling out your application.
Also, it is required that you turn in
your application accompanied by an interview
with Debbie. Applications will not be
accepted without an appointment.
Application for Exchange
The application deadline is February 15, 2013
for exchanges beginning the following
year. This includes fall, winter, and
spring terms. The fee for application
is $175.00. There is an additional $10.00
fee for late applications.
Recommendation Letter
An application is incomplete without a
recommendation letter. The recommendation must be completed
by an WOU staff/faculty or academic advisor.
