Exchange Option
Different Plans
In the NSE booklet, each school has their own side bar, and this will work as a guide to understanding what each school has to offer for National Exchange students.
National Student Exchange - Exchange Options 2009/2010
Plan A Fees - Tuition --WOU Student pays all RESIDENT fees of the exchange (HOST) school directly to that campus. Financial Aid - HOST (exchange) school awards you (WOU student) if eligible, financial aid.
Plan B Fees - Tuition - Pay WOU Financial Aid - WOU, WOU awards you, if eligible, financial aid.
Plan A/B The campus will send as well as receive qualified participants under either Plan A or Plan B.
Other Options with Plan A or B
1 : 1 If the HOST school (where you want to go) has a student who wants to come to WOU, that school will accept you!
Open The HOST campus may accept ALL qualified applicants.
Even The HOST will accept the same number of students as it sends out.
Uneven The HOST may accept a few more students than the number being sent out. |
Application Cost
Details
Currently, the application cost is $160.00 if the application is turned in January 4 - February 15, 2010 (by Oct. 15, 2009 for mid-year placements such as January 2010).
There is a $15.00 late fee if the application is turned in after the deadline.
This fee includes the cost of the NSE and WOU processing fees.
This fee does not include fees required by the host institution, the transportation cost or expenses you may encounter at the host school. |
