Disc Jockey: Shelby Case works as the student media advisor here at Western Oregon University. In that capacity, he mentors, advises and helps oversee KWOU, the 'Western Oregon Journal' and the literary and arts magazine, which is theĀ 'Northwest Passage'. Case was born and raised in Texas, but has lived more than half of his life in Oregon. HeĀ graduated from Southwestern Oregon Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and later received his bachelors degree from the University of Oregon School of Journalism in news-editorial journalism, with a minor in English. This marks his fourth year at Western. Case worked in newspaper and magazine journalism for 19 years before coming to work at Western.
