Biography:

Susie Friberg hails from Idaho. She is currently married to her husband Mike and live in Albany. Susie holds an BS in Secondary Education: English from Boise State University and a Masters of Science in Deaf Education from Western Oregon University. Currently she is RID Certified: NIC and K-12. This her 5th year at Western as the Interpreter Coordinator.

Professional goals include broadening her knowledge of the Interpreting field in terms of Community, Medical, Mental Health and Post-Secondary needs. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking and a recent addition, learning how to long board.
