Which kind of person are you?

The PRAXIS: Theory into Action group is committed to economic and social justice. We recognize the interlocking systems of domination that define our reality - race, class, and gender issues cannot be tackled individually, they are all interconnected. To that end we are dedicated to increasing awareness of these issues on campus; advocating that we all recognize and challenge society's and our own assumptions; and to become critically vigilant about the world we live in. We recognize that theory is a form of practice, and that ideas are a form of power. But we cannot let it end there. Theory provides insight and understanding that are required if we are to act effectively. But as a great theorist once stated, "The philosophers have only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it."
