Brief Statement concerning the September 11th Tragedy
The September 11th tragedies have jolted every fiber of our country. We the members of the PRAXIS: Theory into Action
group mourn the victims in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania, as well as victims of terrorism all over the world, and we vehemently condemn the people and organizations that perpetrate such acts. Our hearts and thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones, and all who have been affected by this tragedy. It has touched so many of us in so many ways. Our greatest measure of respect is with the working class heroes who have labored tirelessly in the rescue, recovery, and cleanup efforts. It is time for compassion and unity to be paramount to all of us. Now is the time to create an open, honest, and safe environment to share our thoughts, concerns, and questions. We need to create a space of respect and support. It is no way unpatriotic to show concern and have questions about our government's response to these heartrending circumstances.
