Multicultural Student Union


The Multicultural Student Union provides all students, faculty and staff with an opportunity to share their experiences and cultural backgrounds while learning about others.  As a designated Educational Activity Group (EAG), MSU aims to raise cultural awareness and diversity issues on Western Oregon University's campus and in the surrounding community. 

Get involved with attending weekly meetings, social gatherings and retreats and participating in regional and national conferences is what MSU members can look forward to throughout the year. 

 Each year the Multicultural Student Union puts on six major events:
 
Dia de los Muertos 
Native American Pow-Wow
African American Awareness Celebration
Women of Color conference
Cinco de Mayo 
Latino Awareness Conference

MSU is held every wendsday night at 6:00pm in the Wearner University Centers' Caliapooia room.
