This year, the Western Oregon University Microgravity Flight Team (WOUMFT) is focusing on outreach opportunities - specifically, to promote students' curiousity within science and mathematics.

Previously, the WOUMFT bore the experiment designator: qvi docent discit, (lat., "he who teaches, learns") indicating the importantance of outreach to the team. The goal of the team's outreach is "to inspire the next generation of explorers."
