Sunshine Sanctuary: This team has also had the opportunity to clean out and organize their facilities, plan and teach crafts to children, while also learning how to groom, feed and lead horses.
Cape Verde Institute of Children and Adolescents :
Students will be traveling to Africa during summer break by plane. Possible service projects include working with an orphanage, helping to fight against disease, and/or aiding to underdeveloped communities.
Compass Community Services :
Student participants will travel by van to Compass Community Services. Mainly we will focus on Compass Family Center which is an emergency shelter for homeless families and children in the San Francisco area. We will help renovate their new location and plan a variety of activities to allow families and children to participate in.
