Lauren has used our office in her PSY 398 Professional Issues in Psychology class. Michael comes in a gives a talk about how to do a vita/resume and tips on financial aid (well recieved by students).She also requires her students to have someone in our office review the vita before it is turned in. She encourages students to use our office for mock interviews and use the graduate school books and resources.
As a faculty representative on the inaguaral Alternative Break Trip, Lauren spent a week in Montrose, CO helping to build a home for a family in need. "The ASB trip was an incredible experience of giving and learning. It was wonderful to see how the team pulled together and how much of a difference people can make. I encourage students and faculty to get involved - you will not forget it and your contributions will help build someone a home." |
