Education Career Fair

When:  Monday, April 6, 2015.  10am-1pm
Where: Pacific Room, WUC

Searching for that perfect teaching job?  Would love to be in "that" district?  Heading to the big fair in Portland this April?

Why not meet the districts up close? Take the time to talk to the hiring personnel without having to stand in line or fight 1,500 other soon-to-be teachers for that one chance to make a great impression. This is YOUR opportunity to meet the employers face to face and find out what they want, what they are like, and if they are the right fit for you. Login to your Wolflink account to learn more about the districts registered for this fair, and visit often as registration is still open and being updated regularly.

At WOU we connect teaching and learning both in our classrooms and in schools, and we're proud that our graduates are some of the most sought after in Oregon and the Northwest.

We've been continuously accredited by NCATE and Oregon's TSPC since 1954 and are one of only eight nationally accredited teacher preparation programs in Oregon; our next on-site visit is tentatively set for Fall of 2015. In 2008 we achieved accreditation by Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE). The BA/BS in American Sign Language/English Interpreting program earned full national accreditation through the Commission on Collegiate Interpreter Education on March 31, 2010.
