Alternative Break Service Trips

Spend your break helping a community in need, while improving and growing in your own life. Join an Alternative Break team and make a difference!

Trips are lead by WOU students and advised by WOU faculty and staff. All funds for the trips are fundraised by the teams. Alternative Break groups meet weekly with the student leaders to exchange information and ideas, engage in reflection activites and plan for the trip.

Winter AB Teams are heading to San Francisco to help out Compass Community Services, Los Molinos to assist Sunshine Sanctuary, and Reno to work with a children's hospital that specializes in cancer and blood disorders. One Service Learning team is on the groun in Cape Verde, Africa to assist youth removed from their families.

Spring Teams will begin to form upon returning to campus in Winter Term.
