Wolverton Memorial Pool rules
- No unauthorized use of Wolverton Memorial Swimming Pool. Do not enter the pool without a certified WOU lifeguard present
- All non swimmers and children under the age of 8 MUST be directly supervised by an adult in the water
- A cleansing shower is required before entering pool.
- No person suffering from a communicable disease transmissible via water may use the pool.
- No person under the influence of an intoxicating drug or alcohol may use the pool.
- No food, gum or beverages are allowed on deck or in the pool. (A plastic bottle of water is the only exception.)
- No street shoes on deck.
- No running on deck, stairs, or in locker room.
- No wrestling, dunking, or horseplay in or around the pool.
- No hanging on the lane lines or safety rope.
- No excessive public displays of affection in the pool.
- Diving is allowed in the deep end only.
- No flips, jumping, diving in backwards or 360 degrees jumps.
- Use a one-step approach when jumping in (no running jumps or dives).
Rules concerning equipment use
- Personal flotation devices (water wings, lifejackets, etc.) are NOT allowed in the pool, unless in a supervised class.
- No flotation devices or toys in the deep end, unless in a supervised class.
