Outdoor Program
About the Outdoor Program

The goal of the outdoor program is to bring the student, faculty/staff, alumni, and the general Monmouth/Independence community to the great outdoors of Oregon. We strive to provide events and some trips that you will not want to miss. The outdoor program is responsible for events such as the Snow Bus and the WOU Triathalon in which people from across the state come to compete. The Snow Bus offers people an opportunity to get up where the ground is white and do some snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tubeing, or just have some fun. The triathalon gives athletes an opportunity to test their skills at three different events: swimming, biking, and running.

The outdoor program runs all year at Western so check back often to see what what will be happening next!

Outdoor Program Coordinator: Melissa Ineck
