Reinstatement Fee:

For major and minor team sports events - once a team is dropped because of two forfeitures, the team may be reinstated by paying the Reinstatement fee. If a team forfeits again after paying the Reinstatement fee, the team will be dropped with no recourse. This fee must be paid prior to that teams next scheduled game or the team will lose the right to be reinstated.

  • Reinstatement Fee: $15.00

Protest Fee:

If a team wants to protest a call in a game, there is a process for the team to follow:

  • Notify official prior to next live ball or pitch
  • Officials will confer to determine if call was correct
  • If team still wants to protest following "official rule," then the supervisor will rule on the call
  • If teams still disagree following supervisors ruling, the team may file a written protest with the Director of Campus Recreation within a time frame (league play - By 3:00 p.m. of the day following the event / playoffs - By 9:00 a.m. of the day following the event) and pay a protest fee.

If protest is upheld, the fee is refunded back to the team and the game will be replayed from the point of interruption. If denied the fee is forfeited and funded to the Campus Recreation account

By rule in all sports, protests on a judgment call are not allowed and will not be considered. Rule interpretation and player eligibility protests are allowed and considered (note - player eligibility protests may be done at any time). Protests that a team may file when that team has no possibility of winning the contest even if team is correct will not be considered (team is down 30 points with a minute to play)

  • Protest Fee: $10.00
