New PE Gym
Built in the 70's, the New PE gym houses the athletic and Health/Physical Education department offices, athletic training room, locker rooms, a "double gym/varsity gym" area, and an auxiliary Multi Purpose Room (MPR) with a rubberized floor. The MPR is used for many things: baseball/softball/track practice, PE classes, intramural indoor soccer, and a club sport practice area. There are also two indoor tennis courts painted on the floor and used for classes as well as recreation in this room. The New PE gym also has an upper gym, that is used for classes and practices for dance, cheerleaders, and some clubs. Wrestling mats are located in this area as well and used for club sports and intramurals.
The New PE gym is used by Campus Recreation as the site for intramurals and not for drop in recreation usage.
