Campus Recreation

The Campus Recreation Department is under the division of Student Affairs, which provides a variety of fun-filled, health-promoting, physical and recreational activities conducive to wellness and personal growth. Campus Recreation provides programs and services in the areas of intramural sports, open recreation, fitness, aquatics, outdoor, special events, equipment checkout, reservation of facilities and instructional programs.

The Campus Recreation Department recognizes the need of a recreational environment separate from the academic rigors of student life. Campus Recreation structures opportunities to facilitate active campus involvement focused on improving intellectual and social competencies necessary to assume a productive role in society. We partner with others in the Western Oregon University community to help students establish a strong sense of belonging and enrich their overall educational experience.
