The Senate President oversees the ASWOU Senate who is the body that is responsible for passing legislation and resolutions on issues that effect students on and around campus. The senate also approves the IFC Budget every winter which effects how much students will pay in fees. The senate may change the constitution through legislation, but the changes must be approved by the student body in the Spring elections.

David Cervantes is a Sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice. His celebrity crush is Taylor Swift, he collects Vans, and he can't touch his nose with his tongue. David really likes the word "Dude", loves posing for pictures with his thumbs up, and would love to meet Bill Gates. To meet David and talk to him about his Vans collection stop by his office, located in the lower level of Werner University Center.
