ASWOU

Student Activities Board is responsible for planning and coordinating dozen of creative events across campus throughout the year. We act as entertainment for students to have fun in these events such as Homecoming Week, Halloween Dance, Holiday Tree Lighting, Spirit Week, Comedians and several other magnificent events. Be a part of this dynamic and energetic group and gain valuable leadership experience---and friends, too! That's a fact!

Raeann (on the left in picture) is in her third year as the Director of the Student Activities Board. Prior to becoming the director of SAB, Raeann served in ASWOU as the Director for Student Organizations working to ensure student organizations on campus had access to resources and help to ensure their continued success. Raeann is in her fifth year at Western Oregon University and is quickly approaching graduation at the end of the spring term. After graduation, Raeann plans to attend grad school in the field of student affairs. Ultimately she would like to work in student leadership at the college level. In her spare time (aka summer time), Raeann likes to volunteer at Camp Ucando, a camp for kids fighting cancer.

Jessica (pictured on the right) is currently serving in her first year as the Assistant Director for the Student Activities Board. If you spend any time with Jessica, you will quickly discover that she is an AVID disney fan. Got a disney question? Ask Jessica! Prior to becoming the assistant director, Jessica worked with SAB for three years. She is currently in her junior year at Western Oregon University working on a communications major. After graduation, Jessica wants to become an event planner working in particular with weddings (which she also LOVES).
