The Incidental Fee Committee (IFC) finished three months of work on February 18th releasing final budget numbers after a five-hour long meeting. IFC is the primary body responsible for deciding the budgets for nine different departments across campus. ASWOU is one of those departments. During the final decision, ASWOU (whose initial request was $334,471) was reduced to a total of $319,038. According to the IFC and its advisors, the ASWOU grants account was the primary issue and after removing a portion of that account, the number landed at $319,038.

Former ASWOU Chief of Staff Zac DePaoli said, "The grants account is an important account that a lot of student organizations use for extraordinary things. The IFC recognized that this was an important part of ASWOU and therefore allocated an additional $8,000 worth of enhancements bringing the overall total to $10,000."

In total, ASWOU is set to recieve the following next year:

Initial ASWOU allocation: $319,039
Enchancements: $12,227
Total ASWOU allocation: $331,226.00
