Application for Admission Workshop
Friday, November 30, 2012

High school seniors and transfer students who wish attend Western Oregon University Fall Term 2013 are invited to attend the workshop. Staff from the Office of Admissions will assist students with completing the undergraduate application for admission. Students also will receive an overview of WOU and private scholarship opportunities, eat lunch at Valsetz Dining Hall and tour the campus.

Workshop Schedule

10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.:	Check-in and Refreshments, Columbia Room, Werner University Center
10:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.:	Welcome Application Workshop Lunch Scholarship Presentation
1:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m.:	Tour of Campus and Residence Halls

Registration: Students are required to register for the workshop. Seating in the Columbia Room is limited to 70 people. Students are encouraged to register for the workshop as early as possible to reserve their spot. Registration for family members and guests is limited to one per student.

Required Documents:

Official High School Transcript: High school seniors and transfer students with less than 36 transferrable quarter hours.
ACT or SAT Scores: High school seniors and transfer students with less than 36 transferrable quarter hours. Conditional admission will be granted to freshmen applicants without scores who meet the minimum GPA requirement.
Official College or University Transcripts: Transfer applicants are required to provide an official transcript from each and every institution they have attended.
Home Schooled Students and GED Recipients: Visit www.wou.edu/admissions and the “Future Students” heading for an overview of admission requirements.

Applications will be provided at the workshop and students will not be required to pay the $50.00 application processing fee.

Parking and Directions: Complimentary parking is available in Lot G, which is located behind the football stadium on Stadium Drive. A parking pass will be required for all other university operated parking lots. Directions to WOU and a campus map are available at www.wou.edu/lodging.
