Spend a day getting to know WOU!

Visit WOU

Campus tours are offered fall, winter and spring terms, Monday through Friday, at 10 a.m., 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Tours are also offered during winter, spring and summer break at 1:30 p.m. and include the Residence Halls. The university is closed on major holidays and weekends.

 

The Advocates can give you the real answers you are looking for

During the fall, winter and spring terms, tours are usually given by a Western Oregon University Advocates, student volunteers who donate their time to provide you with the best on-campus experience possible. The Advocates can give you the answers to questions such as:

  • Who will teach my class?
  • How do I try out for basketball?
  • Which residence hall will I live in?
  • What is the food like?

Please let us know when you are coming so we can also schedule an appointment for you with an admission counselor, a financial aid adviser, a professor or an athletic coach. You can also sit in on a class.

Campus visitation programs

Campus visitation programs provide you the opportunity to visit Western Oregon University for a day. These programs provide an overview of campus life and academic programs of study. A list of our 2006-2007 campus visitation programs is listed below.

 

Preview Days

WOU Preview Days are designed to acquaint you with our campus and understand why WOU is where you want to be. When you come to a Western Oregon University Preview Day, you learn about our quality academic programs, meet our outstanding professors and see what opportunities are available to you on our beautiful campus.

  • Attendance is free and family members are welcome to attend
