Admissions status

For students who apply for admission at check-in

Students attending Preview Day can submit an admission application for Fall Term 2013. Students who provide a complete admission file at check-in, which includes official transcripts and the $50 application fee, will receive notification of their admission status at the conclusion of the program. Please note that only freshmen are required to provide ACT or SAT scores for their admission file.

Students who applied for Fall Term 2013 admission prior to the event or during check-in will be eligible for the Preview Day Award drawing at 2:20 p.m. Preview Day Awards are $1000 and can only be used for the 2013-2014 academic year.

WOU Preview Days are designed to acquaint you with our campus and understand why WOU is where you want to be.

Attendance is free and family members are welcome to attend
Experience the international dance traupe: Rainbow Dance
Lunch will be served by our nationally recognized dining services

Tentative Agenda
9:00- 9:30 a.m.	Check-in, Collection of Admissions Applications & Refreshments, Werner University Center (WUC)
9:30-10:20 a.m.	Welcome & Opening Activities Rainbow Dance will be performing
10:30-11:50 a.m.	Academic Department/Student Services Fair & Core of Campus Tours - meet with faculty and campus services
11:50 a.m.-1:20 p.m.	Lunch and Residence Hall Tours including Ackerman Hall, America's most energy efficient and sustainable residence hall
1:30 - 2:10 p.m.	Exploration Sessions Admissions University Housing & Dining Services Financial Aid & Scholarships Information Session for Spanish Speaking Families Honors Program
2:20 p.m.	Scholarship Drawing & Notification of Admission Status

Registration is required

Please complete the online registration process to guarantee your spot for a Preview Day. Students who register the day of a program are subject to the availability of space. Students who register the day of the event are not eligible to receive complimentary tickets for the basketball games on January 26 or February 23. (per NCAA guidelines)

Note: Registration closes at 5 p.m. on the Wednesday prior to the preview day you wish to attend.

Check in is at 9:00 a.m.

Please meet us at the Werner University Center (WUC). There will be signs to guide students and their guests to the designated parking lots for Preview Day. A parking pass is not required.

As we will be walking around campus,

Bring a jacket, umbrella, and wear comfortable shoes.

Attend a basketball game

January 26: Women’s Basketball – 7:00 p.m. start time
WOU vs. Alaska Fairbanks, New Physical Education (NPE)

February 23: Men’s Basketball – 2:00 p.m. start time
WOU vs. Seattle Pacific, New Physical Education (NPE)

Complimentary tickets available - for attendees - limit 3 per family.
Complimentary tickets can only be requested when registering online for a Preview Day. Per NCAA policy, students who request tickets must present photo identification at the New Physical Education (NPE) Building to receive their tickets. The WOU Athletic Department will not make exceptions to this policy.

If you cannot attend a Preview Day,Consider scheduling an individual campus visit.

We invite you to spend a day getting to know WOU’s campus and community! By visiting us, you’ll get an insider’s view of campus life. Tours are given by current students known as the Ambassadors. Tours depart from the Admissions Office weekdays at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the regular academic year and at 1:30 p.m. only during winter, spring and summer breaks.
