Preview Day Scholarship
- Students who have applied for admission prior to the program are also eligible for the Preview Day scholarship.
- The scholarships are only valid for students entering WOU Fall Term 2010 and recipients must be present during Preview Day.
When you come to a Western Oregon University Preview Day, you learn about our academic programs, meet our outstanding professors and see what opportunities are available to you on our beautiful campus. WOU Preview Days are designed to acquaint you with our campus and understand why WOU is where you want to be.
- Attendance is free and family members are welcome to attend
- Lunch will be served by our nationally recognized dining services

Registration is required
Because WOU values small classes and personalized learning opportunities, we limit the size of our Preview Day attendance. High levels of student interest has resulted in the need to develop a waiting list for Preview Day attendance: register online

Check in is at 9:00 a.m.
Please meet us at the Werner University Center located at Western Oregon University. There will be signs to guide visitors to the designated parking. There will also be current WOU students on campus to act as guides and assist individuals throughout the day.
As we will be walking around campus,
Bring a jacket, umbrella, and wear comfortable shoes.

If you cannot attend a Preview Day,Consider scheduling an individual campus visit.
We invite you to spend a day getting to know WOU’s campus and community! By visiting us, you’ll get an insider’s view of campus life. Tours are given by Western Oregon’s Student Advocates and last one hour. Tours leave from the Admissions Office at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. during the regular academic year and at 1:30 p.m. only during winter, spring and summer breaks.
Admissions status
For student who apply for admission at check-in
Students attending Preview Day who submit an admission application, including official transcripts and the application fee, one week prior to the program will be notified of their admission status at the conclusion of the program. Students can apply for admission during check-in and may be notified of their admission status if official transcripts and the application fee accompany the application.
