Fall Preview Day

When you attend Western Oregon University's Fall Preview Day, you will learn about our academic programs, meet our outstanding professors and see what opportunities are available to you on our beautiful campus. Fall Preview Day is designed to acquaint you with our campus and help you understand why every student matters at WOU.

Preview Day Scholarship

  • High school seniors or transfer students who have applied for Fall Term 2015 admission during check-in and prior to the program are eligible for the Fall Preview Day scholarship drawing.
  • The $1000 scholarships are only valid for new freshmen or transfer students entering WOU Fall Term 2015 only and recipients must be present during Preview Day.

 

Registration is required

Online registration closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Please note registration may be closed prior to November 5 due to demand. If you are a high school counselor or community college representative and you wish to register a large group of students for the program, please contact June McMillan in the Office of Admissions at mcmillanj@wou.edu.

 

Check in starts at 8:15 a.m.

Please check-in at the Werner University Center no later than 8:45 a.m. There will be signs to guide students and their guests to parking lots reserved for Preview Day. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT BEHIND THE FOOTBALL STADIUM!

 

Attire

Students and their guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes due to the fact they will be touring the campus. Attendees are also advised to bring a jacket and umbrella in the event of rain/cooler temperatures the day of the program.

 

Admissions status

For student who apply for admission at check-in

Students attending Fall Preview Day who provide an admission application, official transcripts, ACT or SACT scores (freshmen only) and the $60.00 admission application fee or completed Request for Deferral of Application Fee Form will be notified of their admission status at the conclusion of the program.

 

Note: High school seniors who meet the minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 can apply for admission and be admitted without ACT or SAT scores. Scores will be required after the program to complete a student’s admission file.

 

Attend a game

  • November 8, kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
    Wolves Football vs. Humboldt State University

Complimentary tickets available - for attendees - limit 3 per family.

Complimentary tickets can only be requested when registering online for the November 8 Fall Preview Day. Per NCAA policy, students who request tickets must present photo identification at the stadium to receive their tickets. The WOU Athletic Department will not make exceptions to this policy

 

If you cannot attend a Preview Day,Schedule an individual campus visit.

We invite you to spend a day getting to know WOU's campus and community! By visiting us, you'll get an insider's view of campus life. Tours are given by WOU student Ambassadors and admissions counselors are available to meet with you by appointment.
