and I am an Admissions Counselor and Telecounseling Coordinator at Western Oregon University. I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon where I had family that worked at the local university, and I knew from a very early age that I loved being around a college campus. After getting my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 2007 I knew that I still belonged on a college campus and Western was a perfect place to apply my experience. Each day I drive from my hometown to Western’s campus in Monmouth, Oregon. My sleepy 25 minute drive each morning consists of hot coffee and a loud radio, but by the time I get here I am eager to get my day going. I am very fortunate to be a part of this institution. I am excited to come to this beautiful campus everyday, I am prepared to apply my recent college experience to relate to today’s students, and most importantly I am anxious to meet all of you. Come say hi and I’ll do my best to answer your questions.
