The following Western Oregon University admissions counselor works with students from your area. Please feel free to contact them for information about the university and assistance with the admissions process.

My name is Justin Strohmeyer

and I am an Admissions Counselor and Telecounseling Coordinator at Western Oregon University. I grew up in Corvallis, Oregon where I had family that worked at the local university, and I knew from a very early age that I loved being around a college campus.

After getting my Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology in 2007 I knew that I still belonged on a college campus and Western was a perfect place to apply my experience. Each day I drive from my hometown to Western’s campus in Monmouth, Oregon. My sleepy 25 minute drive each morning consists of hot coffee and a loud radio, but by the time I get here I am eager to get my day going.

I am very fortunate to be a part of this institution. I am excited to come to this beautiful campus everyday, I am prepared to apply my recent college experience to relate to today’s students, and most importantly I am anxious to meet all of you. Come say hi and I’ll do my best to answer your questions.
