My name is Chris Jones

Chris Jones

I am currently receiving the great opportunity to work for Western Oregon University as an Admissions Counselor. Before starting work here at WOU, I also had the great experience of attending Western as a student, and receiving my Bachelors of Art in Business, while studying American Sign Language as a minor. During my time as a student here I have been involved in a number of different activities such as: Student Government, PLUS Team, Advocates, ASL Club, Rec. Sports and much more.

Working with students has been my true calling for as long as I can remember. I was born and raised in what I thought to be a small town at the time about 30 miles north of Western's campus in McMinnville, Oregon. I am very excited to meet so many new people, and to have the opportunity to help students achieve their goals and dreams. I am always looking to help in anyway I can, so please, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Chris Jones’s counties: Coos, Crook, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Linn, and Yamhill.

Out of State: Idaho and Utah.
