Admissions counselors by location

The following Western Oregon University admissions counselor works with students from your area. Please feel free to contact them for information about the university and assistance with the admissions process.

My name is Micah Howe

Micah Howe: admissions counselor I am an Admissions Counselor at Western Oregon University. I'm glad you are interested in learning more about WOU! There are a number of exciting options available in higher education and I truly enjoy helping students explore them.

I am a Seattle native, but I love living in the Willamette Valley and am proud to call Oregon my home now. I completed my bachelor's degree at Gonzaga University, where I studied human resource management, sociology, and women's studies. During college, I was involved in student government, new student orientation, and a number of other activities. I recently received a master's degree in college student affairs from Penn State University. Now, I am thrilled to be back on the West Coast and look forward to working with prospective WOU students from California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

In my free time, I enjoy going to indie concerts, judging high school dance team competitions, reading non-fiction, and traveling (both domestic and international).

Best of luck with your college search process. Go Wolves!

Out of State: Arizona, California, and New Mexico
