Freshman Requirements

When to Apply

Prospective students can submit application materials after they complete their junior year of high school. WOU reviews applications on a rolling basis throughout the year. If you plan to enroll at WOU in Fall 2015, we strongly encourage you to apply by our priority scholarship deadline of February 27th, 2015.


How to Apply

  • Submit an application at
  • Pay the $60 application fee or submit a fee deferral form
  • Send an official high school transcript
  • Send your ACT or SAT scores (including the writing section)


Admissions Requirements

  • Maintain at least a 2.75 cumulative, unweighted high school grade point average
  • Complete 15 subject requirements with grades of C- or better:
    • English - Four years
    • Math - Three years, including Algebra II or higher
    • Science - Three years
    • Social Studies - Three years
    • Second Language - Two years of the same language
  • Graduate from a standard or regionally accredited high school
