Language and Culture Programs
WOU's Office of Study Abroad and International Exchanges can develop two to four week summer language and culture programs for its exchange partners.
The program goals are:
To increase communicative confidence using the English language.
To provide opportunities for communicating with native speakers in a wide variety of situations.
To learn strategies for effective communication.
To learn about American culture by attending and participating in a variety of cultural events.
