Student Enrichment Program

Summer Bridge Program 2014


The purpose of Summer Bridge:


To “bridge the gap” between high school and college by providing exposure and orientation to the campus environment; to educate students about campus and community resources; and to assist students in building skills that will support them to degree completion.


If selected, students will receive at no cost

  • Two graded college credits for participating in the Summer Bridge Program

  • Early move-in to your assigned residence hall room

  • Residential living, dining, and entertainment

  • Exposure to campus and community resources

  • Workshops & activities designed to prepare you for success at WOU such as:

    • Writing your first college paper

    • Budgeting and personal finances

    • Panel programs with current SEP students on transitioning into college life

    • Social events and community service

    • Additional workshop s by WOU professional staff and faculty

    • Initial intake and academic advisement appointments
