Don has been at Western Oregon University since 1991. He began his work at WOU as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 1993 he was hired as Leadership Development Coordinator and in 2002 was selected to serve as the Director of the Student Enrichment Program. Don manages the project’s operation, budget, and staff and also meets regularly with applicants and participants in the project. Don loves to travel, attend musical performances, go camping with his family and is very active in his church and the Mid-Willamette Valley community. |

Beth holds a Bachelor's Degrees in Secondary Education/Language Arts from Iowa State University and a Master's of Education Degree/Reading emphasis from Oregon State University. Her 37 years of teaching experience includes secondary language arts and post-secondary reading/study skills. Beth has served as Coordinator of SEP Instruction for 17 years and currently teaches ICS 103, "Becoming a Master Student" and ICS 105,"Becoming a Critical Thinker."
Beth enjoys spending time with her family--especially her grandchildren; hiking, biking, quilting, gardening, reading, interior decorating, and Goodwill and garage sales shopping

Letitia is a Western Oregon University Alumna who holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Master Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She has been on staff with SEP since August of 2000. Letitia works with a caseload of approximately 90-100 students and co-teaches our Career Planning course. She finds supporting students in their journey to academic and personal success immensely rewarding. Letitia enjoys reading, doing genealogical research, spending time with her family and holds astrong interest in doing continued research in mental health issues.

Alicia graduated from Western Oregon University in June of 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in "Social Science". She joined the SEP staff in September of 2007 as an Educational Advisor. Alicia advises around 100 students and co-teaches our Career Planning class.

Marshall joined our staff recently after moving west from New York. An authentic Midwesterner, Marshall graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Communication and the University of Central Missouri with an M.S. in Student Personnel Administration. When he’s not casually biking through Monmouth, Marshall likes to watch movies, listen to music, play guitar, and start projects around the house without any intention of finishing them.

Ashley graduated from Western Oregon University in the Spring of 2009 with a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She became an SEP staff member in June 2009. As a former TRiO participant, Ashley is passionate about helping students achieve their goals. Ashley loves to travel, enjoys a good romantic comedy, and her favorite time of year is the Christmas season.
