Project Description:

As a national training expert in community policing, problem solving, and community engagement in Indian Country, Western Community Policing Institute proposes the development and national delivery of a unique, comprehensive training project that promotes the development of leadership capacity of tribal youth and encourages their collaboration and participation with tribal law enforcement to develop solutions to the complex public safety challenges in Indian Country.
