Project Description:

The Oregon Educator Professional Development Commission was established by Senate Bill 443 in 2009 "for the purpose of Oregon Educator Professional Development Commission." A collaborative partnership was developed by EdZapp, the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators (COSA), and WOU/TRI to implement the work of the Commission. TRI's responsibilities are to work with school districts in developing professional development plans to meet school improvement objectives and to provide research-based school improvement resources in topic areas that support best practices in professional development. The desired outcome is to assist districts statewide to establish professional learning communities that collaborate and review data for continuous improvement.
