Floor statements from members of Congress, as far back as the 99th Congress (1985-86). Search by last name only, and specify the Congress number. List of members will help you determine to which congresses your subject belonged.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) links to presidential libraries for every president since Hoover. Find audio or texts of speeches at those sites.

STATS

NorthWest Communication Assocation

This northwest (including three Canadian provinces) non-profit scholarly organization promotes humanistic, scientific, and artistic approaches to communication.

Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy
The Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy (ICDD) is a research group that engages in education, research, preservation, and facilitation of communication that fosters civic involvement, improves the quality of political communication, and increases understanding of the connection of communication to democracy.
