CLASSROOM SESSIONS
Library Room 108 is a SMART classroom with 25 computers
and uses either a PC or MAC operating system.
We offer live hands-on instructions
tailored to your specific course/research needs
POINT-OF-NEED INSTRUCTION
If the only thing your assignment calls for is understanding a particular
concept or navigating one specific website or database, we can design
a custom web page or tutorial to assist your students.
Here is an example of a custom webpage

CUSTOM SEARCH ENGINE
We can create a custom search engine that only searches
specific sites on the Internet.
Here is an example of a
custom search eninge. It is designed to highlight web resources on
The Killer Angels a historical novel about the Battle

COMMUNITY VISITS
Hamersly Library welcomes visits from high school and community groups
when academic library resources are appropriate for student projects.
This will more often be the case for students in Grades 11 - 12 than for
those in lower grades. Before visiting the library, we recommend consulting
with one of the Hamersly Librarians to make sure that the library resources
are appropriate and available. Classroom and computer resources may be
made available only during times of low student use. For more information,
