Art Work in the Hamersly Library

Throughout the library there are various works of art that have been donated to the library or are on loan from private collections, campus organizations, or artist's collections. It is the library's goal to change these works every two to three years. Below represents all items that are and have been on loan since the opening of the Hamersly Library in September 2000.

	January to May 2004		John Casey Kalapouya oil, 1987 This was on display in the Reference Room March-May 2004, courtesy of Anne Fox, Emeritus Librarian.

	December 2003 to September 2007		Julie Warren Conn Mother & Child Italian Travertine, 1977 This sculpture was on display in her exhibit, then relocated to the first floor. Courtesy of the artist from 2004-2006.

	June 2006 to September 2007		Kerri Evernick Forest Decomposition acrylic on canvas, 2001 This painting was displayed in the Crawford Classroom 107. Courtesy of the Bullington Collection.

	Donated to the University Archives by Norton Norris, Spring 2004		Norris Collection These posters were on display behind the Reference Desk. Donated to the University in Spring 2004 courtesy of Norris family, Salem, OR. This work is not currently on exhibit in the library and is stored in the University Archives. It can viewed by appointment with the Archivist.

	September 2000 to August 2007		James Van Patten title unknown mixed media, 1973 Was located on the west side of the 2nd floor courtesy of the Campbell Hall Art Collection. This work was donated to WOU by Britta Franz of Salem, OR in 1988. She purchased by work from the artist in 1974 when it was part of an Anit-War exhibit.
