Against the Rain

About the Invitation:
The Hamersly Library is soliciting submissions for a juried show titled “Against the Rain.” We are hoping to select 40 examples of original art using a plain, white paper umbrella as a blank canvas.

The exhibition space extends from the main lobby through all three floors and presents a variety of display opportunities.

Entries will be juried by members of the Western Oregon University Art Department.

Plain white paper umbrellas were available at the Library for a $6.00 fee to cover the cost of the umbrella. Click here for a printable version of the prospectus and application.
