New International Student Orientation The New International Student Orientation sessions are usually scheduled in the week before the academic term starts. Orientation is designed to provide our new international students with some background information about WOU, its campus and facilities, the City of Monmouth and local resources. Other mandatory meetings include the Health and Medical Screening and making copies of immigration documents. Wednesday, January 04 What to bring with you:
9:00AM – 11:30 AM – Check-in at ISSA office - Maaske Hall
**1:30 PM - Set-up Bank Accounts with local banks (if you don’t have one) for checking, deposit, wire transfer, and get checks to pay fees. (Note: WOU cashiers will not accept card payments, only cash or checks. Card Payments can be done online with a debit card only.) Documents or Information required:

9:00AM - Orientation, Immigration Regulations **11:00 AM – Campus tour **1:30 PM - Trip to Salem for those who need to purchase cell phones. (Meet at Maaske Hall)
Friday, January 06 TBA – Meet with Academic Advisors
Monday, January 09 First Day of Classes
Tuesday, January 10 Mandatory Health screening for all International Students Bring medical Documents
