Numerous Honors juniors and seniors (15+) volunteer each year to serve as informal advisors and mentors to Honors sophomores and first-year students. Duties include answering questions about the Honors Program and its requirements, college activities/life in general, and different major/minor options.

The mentor program does not substitute for academic advising, which is done within every students' own major/minor.
