Master of Arts in Interpreting Studies: Current Student
August 2012-It's difficult to find enough superlatives to describe the experience in this program, with this faculty, and with this cohort. I've grown so much more than I knew I could as an interpreter and as a teacher, and I've become part of a supportive group of classmates, with whom I have had the opportunity to develop more than any of us could have alone. Amanda and Elisa (the coordinators) work diligently to be flexible enough to be sure that each student has the opportunity to make our coursework applicable and beneficial to what we're individually doing or hope to be doing in practice. Because of that, it feels like I've spent the past year as focused as possible on enriching my practice, without wasted energy, with a wonderful group of classmates who have become a dynamic professional resource.
