An Introduction

to the Language of Veterans

 

Veterans Speak is a seminar that provides participants with a greater understanding about the culture, history, and policies associated with the "reintegration" process for returning veterans. This workshop is a flexible, participant centered experience focusing on veterans issues.

 

 

If you are intersted in participating in this workshop you can register by following these steps:

 

1. Email the instructor, Paul Evans, and request to register with him and pay for the seminar. Phone: 503-949-6378
2. Complete the non credit workshop form
3. Registration cost; $35 (checks made payable to instructor: Paul Evans)
4. If students want to also gain WOU credit, they can register with the DEP Registration form (BELOW) and pay credit overlay cost of tuition $50/per credit.

 

Date/Time: October 12 & 13, 2012 Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 - 4:00 pm

Location: Building - ED 204

Cost: $35 includes book and materials

To Register with Paul Evans for Veterans Speak workshop, complete the WORKSHOP REGISTRATION FORM.

 

Credit overlay is a term used to offer an "overlay" of university credit for classes or workshops. This allows students and professionals the opportunity to gain WOU credit for a class or seminar they already plan to attend. Not all participants in the class need sign up for academic credit.
