College Level Examination Program CLEP)
CLEP testing is currently unavailable at Western Oregon University. Please contact:

Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
The Miller Analogies Test is a high-level test intended to measure your analytical ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, and mathematics. The test requires the solution of problems stated as analogies, A:B :: C:D, and consists of 120 partial analogies that are to be completed in 60 minutes without the use of a dictionary or any other reference aid.
There is no foreign-language edition of the MAT.
Register at least one week in advance. Fee is $99. (Fees are subject to change.) Maximum of 16 people per session.

Please note that MAT scores are available for five years after the test date. If you took the MAT more than five years ago, Pearson Education, Inc. cannot provide official transcripts or personal score reports for that test date.

Simply need a test proctor?
The Division of Extended Programs is a licensed testing site offering test proctoring.
Cost is $25 for the first hour and $25 for each additional hour or partial hour. (Prices are subject to change without notice.) To discuss setting up a test supervised by a proctor, please email Extended Programs or call 503-838-8483.
Once arrangements are made with DEP, the test taker must arrange for the testing agency to send detailed instructions to DEP about proctoring the exam and returning the test materials.
