Polk County Lunch & Learn Series

lunchnlearn

It's back by popular demand!

This FREE small business series of community workshops is back to help you focus and strengthen your business. This month's series consists of three weekly workshops held on February 9, 16 and 23 from 12:00-1:00pm. Each session will focus on a different aspect of implementing social media best practices and strategies for your business. The sessions will be held on-campus at Western Oregon University and are open to to the public.

Change of location on campus. Participants in earlier Lunch and Learn sessions repeatedly commented how it would be great to hold the sessions in a computer lab. We listened and this time around we're moving the entire series to a computer lab so participants can work along with the presenter.

About the presenter. Rod Killen will be presenting all three sessions and brings a wealth of knowledge gained through his work at Bestinoregon.com. Rod also has an Advanced Certificate in Social Media through the University of San Fransisco.

A note about food and drinks. Unfortunately, only water bottles are allowed in the computer labs so participants cannot bring along their lunch for this session. But, you can still bring your fresh ideas and business cards to share with other professionals in the room.

Free Parking. Parking will be provided by Western Oregon Univeristy. You can park in any WOU parking lot that does not have a parking meter or has spaces marked reserved. Plan on arriving early because you will receive a visitor parking permit after signing in. This permit will need to be placed on the dashboard of your car to avoid receiving any citations.
