Master of Science in Education: Information Technology
WELCOME! Western has designed an online learning program that is manageable for working adults! The program leading to the Master of Science in Education degree with a specialization in Information Technology (MSE:IT) is designed to develop skills that will enable students to competently integrate technology-based educational materials, evaluate communication techniques, design instructional technology materials, organize and manage information, and administer technology programs.
Courses in the program help you understand learning theories and instructional design at the same time you are developing skills in new and emerging technologies, ensuring that you leave the program with the ability to design powerful and effective learning experiences. Our courses are rich and interactive, allowing you to get to know your professors and other students well.

Students doing final project or research ~ Library access for students not currently registered for classes:
Graduate students who require library privileges during a term of non-course enrollment need to pay the $50 Graduate Continuing Access Fee (detail code A077) at the Business Office.
The Continuing Access Fee provides you standard graduate student access to library facilities and collections, most notably borrowing from the local collection and through Summit or Interlibrary Loan, as well as off-campus access to the subscription databases. The student is still liable for applicable overdue fines and replacement costs. So that we can properly update your record in our system, please either bring a receipt showing your payment of this fee to the Checkout Desk, or request (during business hours) that we confirm your payment.
