Face-to-Face Meetings

Where will the Face-to-Face meetings be held?

The MA in Management of International Higher Education is currently undergoing review and approval by the Oregon Department of Education. The primary purpose of this review is to be able to hold the face-to-face conferences on the West Coast. Pending approval, the three-day conferences will be held in Portland, Oregon.

Do I have to participate in order to complete the program?

You are encouaraged to attend the face-to-face portions of the program but we recognize that many of our students will be employed in roles that require extensive travel. Credit is achieved by successful completion of assignments and, in some circumstances we've made it possible to complete the program solely through online elearning.

What will I learn at the meetings?

The meetings will have more of a professional conference feel and are a great time for students to meet and network with fellow students in the cohort. Edge Hill University instructors will also be attending to meet with students to review the previous term's curriculum, preview the upcoming term's curriculum, and provide individual student advising.
